Natural Hair Care

Natural Hair Care  starts with clean healthy hair. Find a shampoo you like . I prefer Crème of Nature. However, I suggest you try a few until you find the one that works best for you. Weekly washing is my routine.
Step two is to  condition your hair at least every two weeks. I like a deep conditioner like a cholesterol with heating cap. Or a Hot Oil under a heating cap because my hair tends to be dry. I will sleep with the conditioner overnight . Then wash and go. Even locks and twists will benefit from sealing the moisturizer.
Learn to add products that seal in the moisturizer.  images (3)Especially when you want to braid your hair or go natural. You want to learn your hair type and quality. What works for others may not work for you.  No one regimen is good for every one. These are suggestions.
You want to take hair supplement vitamins. The goal is healthy natural hair so you can weave or go natural.
Your hair says a lot about you. Allow your hair to say you care about your appearance.

Hair Care Strategies for Cold Weather

Hair care strategies for cold weather is a priority. You can use the cold weather to give hair a rest.

1- Consider a deep conditioner under a heating cap.  Let your hair luxuriate in moisture then let it air dry. If you must blow dry do not over heat.

2- Invest in hair to braid your locks. This is a great season for braids. There are so many styles to choose from the thick over sized braids or the skinny thin braids that last and are more versatile.

3- Start shopping for hats and scarves to cover the well kept hair. This is not the season to cover       un-kept hair. You will damage it.

4- Do not over wash the hair in the cold weather. It can go longer without shampoo so you let the natural nutrients in the hair saturate your hair.

5- You do not have to color hair as often during the cold weather. So you hair can be much without shampoo next Summer.

6- If you weave during the winter be careful about the system you use to take the weave out. Try to have help professional if possible, you do not want to see you hair shed more that it needs to because you carelessly removed it.

Taylor Swift Just Did Something No Woman Has Ever Done Before

If it wasn't clear that day that Taylor Swift taped herself singing Kendrick Lamar in her car, it should be obvious by now that she and her latest album cannot be stopped. While selling 1.287 million copies of your record in one week is pretty spectacular, Taylor's most recent 1989-related achievement might be her most impressive one yet. On Wednesday, "Blank Space" hit number one on the Billboard Hot 100. T-Swift the master pop star is used to having hits, but this time, the ascendance of "Blank Space" was notable because she dethroned herself for the top spot. This is the first time in the history of the Hot 100 (which has been around for 56 years) that a female artist has succeeded herself in the number one position.

She's crushing it.

Prior to "Blank Space" taking over your radio/life, "Shake It Off" had been number one for four weeks straight. She's now the first artist in 2014 to have two Hot 100 number ones, and only the 10th artist ever to manage the trick of defeating her own song (The Beatles and OutKast have also done it). Go ahead and celebrate by watching the "Blank Space" video one or 10 more times.
